National Archives Foundation                              

Initially retained about four years ago to assess the accounting system, this evolved into providing executive search for a CFO. Three years later, when the CFO resigned, we were asked to repeat the executive search process. We maintain a relationship as “an as needed service provider.”


Strategic Restructuring, Mergers, Integrations and Affiliations/Alliances

Back in the mid-1970’s, Richard Kamenitzer was engaged by the Union County Technical Institute to explore a merger with Union College (the county college of Union County, New Jersey). The analyses, interviews and resulting report led to a formal negotiation into what today would be called an integration. In the succeeding decades, foundations and other philanthropies became seriously interested in how two or more local, regional and even national organizations might come together to achieve not only economies but also synergies.
