Bright Yaneza & Associates (BYA) is a firm based in the Greater Washington, DC area committed to partnering with small to mid-sized not for profit organizations to provide value through the efficient management of people and organizations. A distinguishing element of BYA is that its Consultants and Associates possess a passion for working with organizations that provide civic or cultural benefit to the community. Our Consultants and Associates have chosen to combine a love for the civic and cultural organizations with responsible and effective business management.
BYA was founded in 2008 as Owner, Sarah Bright Yaneza, discovered that the not-for-profit community was in need of outsourced financial managers. Ms. Yaneza found that many small to mid-sized organizations were struggling to comply with various accounting requirements and to manage day-to-day bookkeeping functions. Many organizations could not afford to keep a full time financial and business management professional on staff.
We currently support organizations in long-term and interim relationships. We provide our services at the organization's office and remotely. We become an extension of the organization's staff. We customize our services to what the organization requires and we offer best practices in not for profit business management.
Over the past three years, BYA has expanded to provide full service bookkeeping and accounting services, audit facilitation, human resource management, administrative assistance, and organizational consulting.
